Holy Cross in the community

Members of the church actively participate in a number of events throughout the year which are run by the PCC, The Friends of Holy Cross or by the wider local community.

Picture Flower Festival 2006






These include:

  • Sarratt Dance Club
    Social Ballroom and Latin American dancing
    Meets most first Thursday of the month in Sarratt Village Hall at 8.00 pm

    Come and join us and enjoy yourselves.

  • Village Hall Fund Raiser
    Annual Quiz Night come and win the Peter Clements Cup Saturday TBA in the Village Hall. Licenced Bar: Beer, wine and soft drinks will be available, Bring your own Banquet, there will be a Raffle.     Thanks also to Peter and Trish Clements who not only arranged the Questions but donated  the very much sort after Clement`s Cup.

  • Flower Festival - annually, over the last weekend in June - in Holy Cross Church.

  • Harvest Supper - Will be a supper followed by a Barn Dance Further details to follow.

  • SPLAT Pantomime - annually, in January or February - in the Village Hall.
    Next year`s panto is; TBA                    

  • Christmas Bazaar - annually, usually on 1st Saturday of December - in the Village Hall.

  • Sarratt Festival of Music - annually, in September - in the Village Hall.

  • Sponsored Bicycle Ride - annually, in early September - in the lanes of Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire.
    Next year`s date yet to be announced.

  • Royal British Legion Poppy Dinner and Dance - annually in early November - in the Village Hall.
