The Choir
Details of the Choir and spin-off groups.
Holy Cross Church Choir
The choir, which is affiliated to the Royal School of Church Music, comprises 20 members, being 9 sopranos, 4 altos, 3 tenors and four basses. The choir leads most morning services and, by arrangement, will sing at weddings and funerals.
On special occasions the membership is enhanced to become the ‘Sarratt Singers` who perform a variety of music and song at such events as the annual Flower Festival.
A spin off of this group is ‘Close Shave`, a barbershop quartet who perform regularly and are available for local functions.
Led by the organist and choirmaster, David Clough, rehearsals are held each week on Friday at 8.00pm in Holy Cross Church, or at St. Pauls Chipperfield.
