WALKING THE DEANERY MARATHON FOR ST OSWALD`S PARISH PROJECT
Our plan is to walk two half marathons on consecutive days.  The first, on Wednesday 22nd September will take us from St Oswald`s to Chipperfield, through Commonwood, and then on to Bovingdon.  We will return via Flaunden ( I know it`s not in the Deanery but it`s more or less en route) and Holy Cross at Sarratt to Croxley.  If anyone would like to join us for part or all of the route they would be very welcome.   Contact Brian Thomson 01923 226850.  Sponsorship would be welcome too.  We are raising funds for St O`s Parish project for this year.  We are helping to fund a USPG project in the Windward Islands Diocese of the Caribbean (i.e. the islands of St Vincent and the Grenadines, St Lucia and Grenada).

FLOODS IN PAKISTAN AND NIGER  If you have not already contributed to appeals for help in these devastated areas and you would like to do so through the church here, please send your donation to either treasurer clearly marked (and gift-aided if appropriate) and they will forward these on appropriately.
